Description:

The primary responsibility of the Long Range Planning Committee is to provide advice and assistance to the Board of Directors in developing long range plans for ensuring the long term social and economic well being of the Canyon Lake Property Owners Association.

In fulfilling its responsibility, the Long Range Planning Committee shall perform functions which include the following:

• In cooperation with the Board and management staff, coordinate the efforts of the various committees involved in developing long range plans for ensuring the most effective preservation and future development of the physical assets of the CLPOA
• Periodically meet with the various committee chairpersons and others to identify and review issues of long range consequence to the CLPOA
• Assist the Board and General Manager with research and analysis of significant issues which may have potential impact on the CLPOA
• Interface with other committees to coordinate their input/commitment to the long range planning process
• Establish and submit to the Board proposed long range plans for the most cost effective preservation, replacement, and/or utilization of the CLPOA assets, character, and security
• Provide recommendations regarding the current operation and maintenance of the CLPOA in the interest of its long term property values
• Periodically review progress against established long range plans and report to the Board regarding same
• Perform such other functions as directed by the Board
