Parks & Beaches

The COVID-19 situation is rapidly changing and for updates, members can visit California’s COVID-19 Q&A. The Canyon Lake POA is generally following any City, County, or State guidelines that are currently in place. The State of California updated the Regional Stay Home Order  on December 9, playgrounds are now open. Parks are not included in the order, and as such remain open. Visit our COVID-19 page for the most up-to-date information. Please follow current State guidelines and orders regarding face coverings and social distancing.


Canyon Lake’s parks and beaches play a very important part in the overall quality of life for Canyon Lake residents and visitors. The Canyon Lake POA is responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of the 16 different parks and beaches residents enjoy year-round. All parks and beaches are open daily from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. in the spring and summer (May 1 - Sept. 30) and 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. (Oct. 1 - Apr. 30).

Personal possessions left at the parks or beaches may have been turned into the Canyon Lake POA Lost and Found. Call 951.244.6841 x218 to inquire.

Pet Friendly Parks

Canyon Lake has parks that are pet-friendly, however, pets must be on a leash. Click here to view pet friendly parks.
