The State of California issued a Stay at Home executive order on March 20, 2020 (view order). All non-essential professional, social and community gatherings are currently postponed or canceled until further notice. As such, the Tennis Courts are currently closed until further notice.
There are six lighted tennis courts located near the Lodge. All members in good standing are welcome to use the tennis courts at their leisure when courts are available.
As a result of COVID-19, the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP) is recommending the cancellation of any group or clinic tennis lessons. Effective today, Monday, March 16, only modified tennis lessons will be available at the tennis courts. These lessons must meet the following conditions:
- No more than 4 people on a court, no group or clinic lessons
- Only the tennis pro may pick up tennis balls
- All students should maintain 1-2 meter distance between one another and tennis pro
- No sharing of tennis rackets
- No shaking of hands at greeting or departure
- Sanitizer available on the court
This is a fluid situation, and these conditions could change at any time based on public health.
|Children ages 6 to 16 are invited to participate in a new introductory junior clinic designed to teach children to the sport of tennis. There is going to be an emphasis on enjoyment and learning basic strokes.|
Clinics will be taught by Tennis Pro Brien Sullivan and will take place every Wednesday at 3 p.m. on Courts 1 and 2. No reservations required, just come on down!
Group and private tennis lessons are available to individuals of all ages. Tennis lessons can be purchased through our tennis professionals.
