Swimming Lessons

Swimming lessons will start on June 18. Lessons are 30 minutes each day, Monday through Friday at 10:15 a.m. or 11 a.m. There will be no swim lessons July 2 through July 6. 

Price

Swim lessons are $75 for the first week and $45 for the second week or additional child. The third week is free so the total for three weeks is $120. Additional weeks are $45 per week after the third week (only one week free per household).

Swim Lesson Levels

Below is a brief description of the lessons available. Adult swim lessons available for beginners, or those who are looking to perfect their technique. 
  • Tot Swim
    Introduction to floating and face in water
  • Level 1
    Kicking and safety rules
  • Level 2
    Introduction to retrieving objects, turn back to front, and hold breath three (3) seconds. 
  • Level 3
    Retrieving objects with no support and introduction to diving 
  • Level 4
    Elementary back stroke, standing dive, and tread water
  • Level 5
    Breast stroke, butterfly kick, alternate breathing
  • Level 6
    Front crawl 100 yards
  • Level 7
    Front crawl 200 yards, back crawl 100 yards and rescue skills

Mommy & Me Lessons

Mommy and Me lessons will take place July 9 through July 13 from 11:45 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. The class is $35. Sign-ups are available at the pool office. Water Polo

All ages are invited to take Water Polo Lessons, permitting they can swim the full length of the pool, 25 yards. Water Polo Lessons will start on June 18. Lessons are Monday through Friday from 11:45 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Price

$50 per week, buy two weeks and get the third week free (only one free week per household). Following weeks are $45 per week. Sign-ups are available at the pool office. Schedule

See the schedule below and a brief description of what we will be working on. 
  • Week One - Basics
    June 18 - June 22
    Learn to eggbeat, basic positioning, basic passing, and shooting forms, basic water polo communication and lingo
  • Week Two - Passing
    June 25 - June 29
    Focus on basics of water polo taught in week one, as well as working on all types of passing (i.e. cross face, long/short range, no look, wet/dry etc.)
  • Week Three - Shooting
    July 9 - July 13
    Focus on basics of water polo taught in week one, as well as working on all types of shooting form (i.e. cross-cage, strong side, wet shots, and shots from set.
  • Week Four - Offense
    July 16 - July 20
    Focus on basics of water polo taught in week one, as well as working on different types of plays and positions that creates a good offensive player
  • Week Five - Defense
    July 23 - July 27
    Focus on basics of water polo taught in week one, as well as working on different types of play and positions creates a good defensive player
  • Week Six - 6 on 5/5/ Meters
    July 30 - August 3
    Focus on basics of water polo taught in week one, as well as working on different types of plays and positions for both offense and defense when up/down on a 6 on 5; plus work on five-meter penalty shots including technique and how to draw five-meter in play
