If you love boating and you love live music, what could be better than combining the two? Easy answer: combining the two for free. Residents are invited to come out on the lake for Canyon Lake’s first ever “Rock the Boat” concert featuring popular local country performers Kanan Road, and opening act Harlan Spector.
Date & Time Saturday, October 17 at 6 p.m.
Location This concert will be performed at the Holiday Harbor Amphitheater, but the performance will be facing the water. Residents are invited to enjoy this concert by boat, paddle board, or kayak. At 5 p.m., the main lake will slow down to 5 mph.
Health & Safety Guidelines
This boat-in concert is designed to be viewed from the lake only. The amphitheater and surrounding area will be closed for access and use. Police and Community Patrol will be in place to enforce access control at the closed areas. Residents are asked to continue to practice all physical distancing and face covering guidelines that are in place.
This rising country music band was formed by three brothers and has shared the stage with Trace Adkins, Lonestar, The Marshall Tucker Band, Scotty McCreery, Blue Oyster Cult, among others at venues from The House of Blues to The Temecula Balloon & Wine Festival, to the The Bluebird Cafe in Nashville to the Canyon Club in Agoura, wineries, fairs and private events. Here in Canyon Lake, they most recently opened for the Phil Vassar concert in February.
Harlan Spector is an Los Angeles based keyboard player best known as a Hammond organist with extraordinary ability on the organ bass pedals. He plays all styles of music especially Rock, Blues and Classical as well as Funk, Soul, Country and Jazz.
