Your Board of Directors, Canyon Lake POA management, and staff have all worked very hard this past year to upgrade and update our community while staying within budget. All this was guided by the Board's decision to adopt a set of "Principles" last year to help navigate the year ahead (visit the Board Principles page).
Several of the guiding principles adopted, such as "protect our property values", "enhance our unique identity", and "continuous improvement to enhance our services and community," gave direction for many of the positive changes we have seen over the past year. Funding for all these projects came from our three reserve accounts that are maintained annually following state law and careful planning.
Projects can take years to develop and go through many stages before you see the finished product. Below is a list of the major projects that your Board is currently working on, or completed this past year. These are in addition to the ongoing repair and maintenance projects completed monthly.
Projects In Development
Projects In Design, Permitting & Bidding
Projects Approved for Construction
Projects Under Construction
As you can see, there has been a lot happening in our community over the past year. Our management and staff have done a great job tracking all these projects and moving forward efficiently and cost-effectively. These projects are planned and paid for with funds from our three reserve accounts and scheduled to continue through the 2021/2022 fiscal year within budget and without any dues increase related to the reserve fund allocation.
