In alignment with the guiding principles established by the Board at the commencement of the 2020/2021 term, a goal was set to refine Canyon Lake POA administrative operations by streamlining services to members.
With the full support of the Canyon Lake POA's Board of Directors, under the guidance of the General Manager and the leadership of the Controller, a search was recently completed for a full-service technology provider to assist with the implementation of this goal. The objective is to streamline services and modernize access to community amenities for the members, including clubs. The selected service provider will equip the Canyon Lake POA with a custom unified platform system for delivering services such as customer management, billing, reservation systems, and other high-end web applications.
Members can look forward to making online dining reservations, campground reservations, club calendars, events registration, tee times, access to real-time charges, including online payments, and personalized member communications. Additionally, members can receive push notifications through the new system, view current charges, order food, view and pay bills, make reservations (tee times, dining, etc.), access member roster, view and sign up for club events, and much more.
Further, the Canyon Lake POA family of websites will be redeveloped with a mobile-first design, and there will also be a new mobile app. With an exciting vision to provide real-time access to information for community members and clubs, the anticipated launch date for the new management and communications system is September 2021.
Under the leadership of the Senior Member Services Manager, the focus of the Member Services department this past year became the need to provide efficient services in the new virtual world. To that end, there was an emphasis placed on the ability to email submissions for registration renewals, membership renewals, etc. at email@example.com. While this method was primarily developed to cope with having to close the offices to the public, this practice has proven to be highly effective at meeting members' needs.
A combined focus for the Member Services and Communications departments is providing a welcome platform for new homeowners. Content on this new platform welcomes new owners to our beautiful community and gives them the information they need to establish their membership with the Canyon Lake POA. The platform also provides information on all the great amenities, activities, events, and essential things to know about living in our association.
Members are once again encouraged to sign up for newsletters and notifications on our Notify Me page in order to receive information through emails, texts and other methods regarding these issues and others of interest to the community.
