Homeowners, please take the time to complete your ballot and mail it back with the postage-paid, pre-addressed envelope included. Also, please do not forget to sign your outer envelope. Adult Golf League

Looking for a fun way to break up the week? Join the next series of our Adult Golf League! The league kicks off on May 8 and will be every Tuesday starting at 4 p.m. for four to six weeks. The league fee is $50 and to sign up visit the Golf Shop or call 951.246.1782. 

Don't miss Tee It Up Taco Tuesday at the Country Club Bar & Grill afterwards! There will be food and drink specials from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Accepting Art Tiles

Want to paint an art tile for the tile walls at Sunset Beach or at the tennis courts? The CLPOA is currently accepting tiles from community residents. If you would like to contribute you can purchase and design an art tile at Cup Above. Once the tile has been fired you can drop it off at the CLPOA Operations office on Longhorn Drive.

Be in Fiesta Day Parade

A well-attended parade always kicks off Fiesta Day. Want to be in the parade? Golf carts, bicycles, floats, trucks, trailers, and performance groups are all invited to join. Entries must be decorated and there will be a float contest this year celebrating the theme “Cheers to 50 Years”. The parade application deadline is May 15.

Junior Golf Acadamy

Looking for a fun activity for your child to take part in? Sign them up for the Junior Golf Academy at the Canyon Lake Golf & Country Club. There are three different classes available for various levels of golfers.

Summer Swimming Lessons 

Registration is open for summer swim lessons and water polo at the pool. Lessons will begin on June 18 daily Monday through Friday. There will be two sessions at 10:15 a.m. and 11 a.m. Water polo sessions also run Monday through Friday from 11:45 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Indian Beach Trees

New Trees at Indian Beach

Three new trees were planted on the beach at Indian Beach this week. These trees will provide much-anticipated shade on the beach. The CLPOA thanks  both the Canyon Lake Woman's Club and The Kids Club for donations towards these new trees.


Happy Camp Construction

Happy Camp Ribbon Cutting & Lottery

Happy Camp is anticipated to be complete before Memorial Day weekend. This year, there will be a lottery for the Memorial Day weekend. Sign-ups will be taken at the campground office between May 12 and May 18. The lottery will be May 19 at 9 a.m. and members must be present for a chance to win. Before the lottery, there will be a ribbon-cutting ceremony that the community is invited to attend. 

Holiday Harbor Amphitheater Rendering

Holiday Harbor Amphitheater 

The CLPOA will be building a proper amphitheater at Holiday Harbor Park. Work will begin on May 7 and is estimated to be finished before the end of May. Once complete there will be a new 20ftx30ft stage and multi-level seating for viewing. This new amphitheater will be the perfect spot for many community events.The Canyon Lake Fine Arts Guild graciously donated $25,000 towards this new amenity.

Mailbox Replacement Project

Group One is complete and mail has resumed at the mailboxes at these locations: East Port Parking Lot (157-171), 23857 Fair Weather Drive(250-254), Clear Water Drive (238-240), Swan Point Drive (244 - 246). If you have a mailbox at one of these locations you can pick up a new key at the CLPOA's Operations office located near the North Gate at 29081 Longhorn Drive (please note, you can access the driveway from Vacation Drive). Group Two will begin next month. 


Annual Assessments Due

The annual assessment for the 2018 - 2019 fiscal year is $2,832. In accordance with appropriate accounting practices, all homeowners will be billed $2,832 on May 1. If you choose to pay in full, your payment must be received on or before May 15. If you choose to pay monthly, you will receive a monthly statement (pictured) showing the remaining balance of your account plus any new activity that has occurred. The monthly statement will also list the minimum amount due to be paid on or before the 15th. 



Regular Session Board Meeting - 5/1

The CLPOA's next Regular Session Board Meeting Tuesday, May 1 at 7 p.m. in the Holiday Bay Room at the Lodge. Please note, Board Meetings are for Canyon Lake homeowners only, please be sure to bring your CLPOA ID Card as you may be asked to show it. These meetings are televised live on the City's PEG channel (Verizon 39/Time Warner 29) and on the CLPOA website.

Reminder - Annual Registrations Due

Members can register their boats, golf carts, annual golf memberships, and dock slips now at the CLPOA's Member Services office. Renewal letters were sent out with the instructions and required documents you will need to renew your registration. For questions about your registration, please contact the Member Services department at 951.244.6841 x310.


Leash Rule Reminder

Residents with furry animal family members are reminded that they must keep their pets restrained on a leash while on common property, or confined by fencing or other secured enclosure within their property. The only common area where pets can be leash-less is at the Dog Park at East Port Park. Please refer to the Rules & Regulations General Rules, Section 2.14 for further elaboration on pet restrictions.
