Enjoy Brunch At The Lodge This Sunday


Enjoy a delicious Sunday Brunch at the Lodge this Sunday, August 19 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. There will be an omelet station, carving station, breakfast pastries, salads, a variety of desserts and much more! The brunch is $23.50 for adults, $12.95 for children ages 6 to 12, and children 5 and younger are free with a paid adult.

Make Plans for Labor Day at Happy Camp! 

With Labor Day coming up its time to start planning your three-day weekend! Happy Camp is a great option for a stay-cation over the long holiday weekend. Reservations for Labor Day weekend will open up this Saturday, August 18. Please be advised that there is a three-day minimum and holiday rates will apply.

Kenny Cetera's Chicago Experience - 8/25

The Canyon Lake Fine Arts Guild is bringing the music of Chicago with Kenny Cetera’s Chicago Experience to Canyon Lake on Saturday, August 25. Chicago is one of the longest running and most successful rock groups of all time!  Kenny has personally toured with Chicago as a vocalist and performed on Chicago 17, Chicago’s best selling album. Tickets are $25 general admission and $45 VIP reserved and can be purchased online at www.canyonlakeguild.com or at the CLPOA's Member Services office (general admission only).

Head over to the Country Club Bar & Grill for their Tee It Up Taco Tuesdays! Enjoy street tacos, rice, beans, and a salsa bar on Tuesdays only from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. There are also great drink specials. Call 951.246.1773 to make your dinner reservations.

Kids Club Resumes September 4

After their summer break, the Canyon Lake Kids Club will resume meeting on Tuesday, September 4. This club is for young children and their parents or grandparents. The club meets on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the Lodge. This is a preschool learning based program that enjoys crafts, music, exercise, games, sports, and snacks.

Fall Ball Sign-Ups

Sign-ups for Canyon Lake Little League Fall Ball are going on now! Fall Ball is open to children age 4 to 11 and the season starts in mid-September. The deadline to sign-up is September 3. Registration is $65 and includes instruction, hat, shirt, and belt. Players will need to purchase their own pants and socks. Registrations are online only, there are no in-person registrations.

Boat Service Seal Changes

Canyon Lake residents who exit the community with their boat for gas, service, etc. should request a service seal (white tag) from Community Patrol. Upon re-entry, a service seal indicates to staff that the boat has not been in another body of water and does not need to be inspected for quagga mussel. To make this process easier, Community Patrol gate guards will now provide the white tags at both East Gate and North Gate. Residents exiting with their boat may stop and park in the 10-minute parking area directly behind the East and North Gate guard buildings.

Emergency Rule Changes

At the Regular Session Board Meeting on August 6, the Board approved two emergency rules: 


Equestrian Center, Section 2.11 | Do Not Feed or Pet Horses Other Than Your Own
For your own safety and the health and safety of the horses, do not feed or pet horses other than your own.

Equestrian Center, Section 2.21 | Authorized Persons Only in Horse Stall Areas
The living quarter / stall areas of the horses are limited to horse owners, their escorted guests and/or those that have been authorized to interact with the horses by signing the appropriate waivers.


Please note, emergency rule changes are effective for 120 days. 


New 30 Day Readings

Per the Davis-Stirling Act, which applies to all common interest developments in California, before adopting or amending an Operating Rule or changing the Fine Schedule, the Board must provide notice of a proposed rule change at least 30 days before making the rule change. At the Regular Session Board Meeting on August 6 the Board approved several proposed rule changes which are posted for members to view on the CLPOA website.

Get Your RFID Transponder Now

The CLPOA is moving towards implementing RFID technology at all gates. RFID transponders are free for all Canyon Lake residents. To get your RFID transponder, please visit the CLPOA's Member Services office during regular business hours (Monday - Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturday from 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.) with your current vehicle registration, and the vehicle in which you need the transponder for.  For more information contact the CLPOA's Member Services office at 951.244.6841 x310 or visit during regular business hours.
