Halloween Costume Night

Costume Night at the Lighthouse


Join us for a night of Halloween fun at the Lighthouse Restaurant & Bar's Halloween Costume Night, tomorrow October 20. Festivities will begin at 7 p.m. with live music featuring one of Canyon Lake's most popular local band, The Bad Dancers. There will be prizes for the best costumes, so be sure to come dressed to impress! 

Come early and enjoy dinner in the dining room and take advantage of the current promotion, buy two entrees and get a free appetizer. This promotion is only running until Sunday, October 21, so this could be your last chance to enjoy this offer.

Final Movie Night - 10/26

Come out for our final movie night of the year! At this special event, we are showing the Halloween hit Hocus Pocus. The movie will start at dusk which is approximately 6 p.m. Arrive early to get a a good spot, plus be sure to dress warm and bring blankets, we expect it to be a chilly fall night.

Canyon Lake Golf & Country Club Closed

The Canyon Lake Golf & Country Club is currently closed. The golf course is closed through October 27 for its annual overseeding and maintenance. It will reopen on Sunday, October 28. There will be a soft reopening on Saturday, October 27 for a special manufacturer demo day and tour. The Canyon Lake Country Club Bar & Grill will is also closed through October 26, reopening on Saturday, October 27.

In addition, the CLPOA is also overseeding the Main Causeway and Main Gate turf areas so they will also look nice through the winter.

Parade of Frights - 10/27

Bring the kids out for a morning of trick-or-treating and Halloween fun at the 26th annual Parade of Frights on Saturday, October 27. At this fun event hosted by the Chamber of Commerce, there will be trick-or-treating at more than 30 participating businesses, including the CLPOA. There will also be jumpers, carnival games, music, and costume contests.

Crafters Invited to Senior Center Boutique

Make sure to save the date for the 18th annual Senior Center Holiday Boutique on November 3 and November 4 at the Senior Center. There will be hundreds of handmade items for sale. This is a great opportunity to start your holiday decor and gift shopping!

Kids Art Camp During Thanksgiving Break

Sign your child up for an art camp holiday adventure during Thanksgiving break this year! Camp will take place November 19 through November 21 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. each day in the East Port Activity Room. This camp is for children in grades K through 7th.  Registration is $75 per child, and $70 per additional sibling. Registration available online and at the CLPOA office. There are only 25 spots for this class.

Get Your RFID Transponder Now

The CLPOA is moving towards implementing RFID technology at all gates. RFID transponders are free for all Canyon Lake residents. To get your RFID transponder, please visit the CLPOA's Member Services office during regular business hours (Monday - Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturday from 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.) with your current vehicle registration, and the vehicle in which you need the transponder for.  For more information contact the CLPOA's Member Services office at 951.244.6841 x310 or visit during regular business hours.
