Veterans Day Events in Canyon Lake

Join the City of Canyon Lake at their 10th annual celebration saluting America's veterans of the armed forces, featuring words of tribute at Canyon Lake's Towne Center. The CLPOA will be at this event providing complimentary treats and beverages (while supplies last). 

Hungry? We have great specials at the restaurants this weekend. T
he Country Club Bar & Grill is offering a special menu on Saturday, November 10 and any veteran may receive a free slice of apple pie. Over at the Lodge, there will be a Sunday Brunch on November 11 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and all veterans with their military id will receive 50% off. Reservations are recommended and can be made by calling 951.244.6841 x771.

In observance of the holiday, the CLPOA's office will be closed on Monday, November 12. Regular business hours will resume on Tuesday, November 13.

Calling All Young Artists! 

It’s that time of year again! The CLPOA and the Family Matters Club are teaming up to present the popular Turkey Hand Coloring Contest for Canyon Lake children 12 years and younger. This contest will run through Thursday, November 15. Winners will be contacted on Friday, November 16 and invited to the CLPOA office to collect their prize and take pictures on Monday, November 19.

Kids Art Camp During Thanksgiving Break

Sign your child up for an art camp holiday adventure during Thanksgiving break this year! Camp will take place November 19 through November 21 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. each day in the East Port Activity Room. This camp is for children in grades K through 7th.  Registration is $75 per child, and $70 per additional sibling. Registration available online and at the CLPOA office. There are only 25 spots for this class.

Canyon Lake's Turkey Drive - 11/15

Celebrating the holidays when there are no resources to make them special is hard, but you can help thousands of families and individuals in the County of Riverside share in a traditional Thanksgiving meal.  How?  Drop off a donation at City Hall.The City of Canyon Lake will be collecting frozen turkeys and other holiday foods on Thursday, November 15 between 2 p.m. and 4 p.m. For more information, contact Canyon Lake City Hall at 951.246.2024.

Senior Center Holiday Party - Sign Up Now! 

The Senior Center Work Group will host its annual holiday party on Sunday, December 9. This event starts at 5 p.m. and includes a catered dinner and entertainment by the Choraleers. This is a free event for Canyon Lake adults over the age of 55. However, reservations are required and seating is limited to 75 people. Sign-ups available now at the CLPOA office!

With the end of Little League, the CLPOA has closed Gault Field for its annual overseeding in each field. Gault Field will be closed until mid-January.

Get Your RFID Transponder Now

The CLPOA is moving towards implementing RFID technology at all gates. RFID transponders are free for all Canyon Lake residents. To get your RFID transponder, please visit the CLPOA's Member Services office during regular business hours (Monday - Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturday from 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.) with your current vehicle registration, and the vehicle in which you need the transponder for.  For more information contact the CLPOA's Member Services office at 951.244.6841 x310 or visit during regular business hours.
