Amphitheater Passes Inspection

Holiday Harbor Amphitheater Completed


The Canyon Lake POA is excited to announce that the Holiday Harbor Amphitheater passed final inspection today from the new City Building Department Contractor. Construction fencing will be removed next week.

Polar Bear Day - Jan. 5

The Ski Club, Wakeboard Club, and Showcal Skiers are joining together and invite Canyon Lake residents to come out for the 2019 Polar Bear Day event! Grab a wakeboard, waterski, sho ski, wakeskate, swivel ski, jumper, hydrofoil, or trick skis and head over to Sunset Beach from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. on January 5. Boats and crews will be providing rides to riders of all ages who dare to brave the lake's cool temperatures. For $20, participants will receive not only the thrill of the chill, but also an official Polar Bear Day tee. Partner up with someone and pay $35 for two! Take the plunge and join this fun community event!

Chair Yoga Starts Jan. 5

Canyon Lake's newest class, Chair Yoga, will start on Saturday, January 5 at 8 a.m. at the Senior Center. Chair Yoga is a gentle form of yoga that is practiced while sitting on a chair, or standing using a chair for support. With the assistance of a chair, adults can practice yoga with the added benefits of increased circulation, balance, flexibility, mobility, and strength. This class is taught by Canyon Lake resident Linda Brito. Classes are $25 for five classes. First class is free! You can purchase classes at the Canyon Lake POA office.

Fish Out of Water Fitness

Missing Water Aerobics at the pool? Join our Fish Out of Water Fitness class! This class is taught by our Water Aerobics instructor Susie Bennett and it is an energetic, upbeat aerobics class that is sure to keep you moving. It is a great workout for all levels of fitness enthusiasts. Classes are available at 8:30 a.m. and 7 p.m. on Mondays and Wednesdays in the Pool View Room at the Canyon Lake Lodge starting January 7. Classes are only $2 per class, you can use your Water Aerobics punch card. Fine Arts Guild Concerts 

The Canyon Lake Fine Arts Guild has announced its 2019 lineup, including four concerts at the Canyon Lake Lodge and two free summer concerts at the new amphitheater at Holiday Harbor Park. The schedule of tribute performers is Garth Brooks on March 16, Frank Sinatra on May 17, Doobie Brother on September 7 and Neil Diamond on October 19. The two free summer concerts are a Jimmy Buffett tribute on June 29 and The Rolling Stone tribute on August 10. 

Ticket prices are $25 General Admission and $45 VIP Reserved Seating. Information and tickets are available on the Guild's website, www.canyonlakeguild.org.

Railroad Canyon Widening Begins Monday

The City of Lake Elsinore will officially begin construction on the Railroad Canyon Road Widening Project on Monday, January 7th. Substantial completion of this project is expected, tentatively by the end of April 2019, though this date is subject to change due to weather conditions and other unforeseen delays.

Construction hours will be from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday and will include regular lane closures throughout the project. Construction is expected to begin on the Westbound side of Railroad Canyon Road.

Have You Heard About Guest ePasses?

Guest access into Canyon Lake just got easier with dwellingLIVE's ePass option!  This new feature allows Canyon Lake POA members to email guest passes to their guests so they can either print the pass ahead of time, or the gate guard can scan their pass on their smartphone. Each manned lane is now equipped with wireless hand-held QR code scanners. Gate guards will issue parking passes to eligible visitors displaying their guest pass on their smartphone. As always, guards will verify the state-issued photo I.D matching the name of the ePass.

Workshop - The Canyon Lake POA will hold a Regular Session Board Meeting Workshop on Tuesday, January 8 at 12:30 p.m. in the Canyon Lake POA Conference Room (31512 Railroad Canyon Road, Canyon Lake, CA 92587) to discuss Facility/Common Area Use Policies. Canyon Lake homeowners are welcome to attend this meeting. Be sure to bring your Canyon Lake POA ID card as it will be used to verify your membership.

Reminder, the Canyon Lake POA's Regular Session Board Meeting is Tuesday, January 8 at 6 p.m. in the Canyon Lake Lodge. Canyon Lake homeowners are welcome to attend this meeting. Be sure to bring your Canyon Lake POA ID card as it will be used to verify your membership. Watch this meetings live on Spectrum cable channel 29 and Frontier cable channel 39. It is also broadcasted live on the Canyon Lake POA website. Past meetings can be viewed on the website as well.

The Canyon Lake POA is hosting its annual employee appreciation event on Friday, January 18. The Lighthouse Restaurant & Bar will be closed and the Country Club Bar & Grill will close early at 4 p.m. so employees can attend. Regular hours at both facilities will resume on Saturday, January 19. We appreciate your consideration and support as we congratulate the Association's hard working staff.

Get Your RFID Transponder Now

The Canyon Lake POA is moving towards implementing RFID technology at all gates. RFID transponders are free for all Canyon Lake residents. To get your RFID transponder, please visit the Member Services office during regular business hours (Monday - Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturday from 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.) with your current vehicle registration and the vehicle in which you need the transponder for.  For more information contact Member Services office at 951.244.6841 x310 or visit during regular business hours. RFID transponders will soon be mandatory for all Canyon Lake resident vehicles. Please come get yours as soon as possible.
