Missing Persons

The popular 80's new wave band, Missing Persons will kick off the Concerts at the Lodge series with a special Valentine's concert on Saturday, February 9, 2019.  Best known for such songs as “Mental Hopscotch,” “Surrender Your Heart,” “Words” and “Walking in L.A.”  The opening act for this show will be Makayla Phillips, who won the golden buzzer on America's Got Talent, season 13. General Admission tickets to this concert are $29 and seats are unassigned. You may select your own seats with VIP Admission tickets for $54.

Free Sand & Sandbags 

With heavy rains in the forecast, residents are reminded that sand and sandbags are available for residents to pick-up and self-pack at the Fire Station facility near the North Causeway on an as-available basis, during inclement weather. Sand bags are stored in a can next to the pile of sand. Please be sure to bring your own shovel to fill sandbags. 


Health & Wellness Fair - 1/13

The Junior Women's Club is having a Health & Wellness Fair on Sunday, January 13 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. There will be vendors, guest speakers, and entertainment.

There will also be a blood drive at this event. To save time, blood donors can make an appointment online. Every one donation saves three lives! 


New Class, Chair Yoga! 

Try out Canyon Lake's newest class, Chair Yoga, offered Saturdays at 8 a.m. at the Senior Center. Chair Yoga is a gentle form of yoga that is practiced while sitting on a chair, or standing using a chair for support. With the assistance of a chair, adults can practice yoga with the added benefits of increased circulation, balance, flexibility, mobility, and strength. This class is taught by Canyon Lake resident Linda Brito. Classes are $25 for five classes. First class is free! You can purchase class punch-cards at the Canyon Lake POA office.

Fish Out of Water Fitness

Missing Water Aerobics at the pool? Join our Fish Out of Water Fitness class! This class is taught by our Water Aerobics instructor Susie Bennett and it is an energetic, upbeat aerobics class that is sure to keep you moving. It is a great workout for all levels of fitness enthusiasts. Classes are available at 8:30 a.m. and 7 p.m. on Mondays and Wednesdays in the Pool View Room at the Canyon Lake Lodge. Classes are only $2 per class, you can use your Water Aerobics punch card. Fine Arts Guild Concerts 

The Canyon Lake Fine Arts Guild has announced its 2019 lineup, including four concerts at the Canyon Lake Lodge and two free summer concerts at the new amphitheater at Holiday Harbor Park. The schedule of tribute performers is Garth Brooks on March 16, Frank Sinatra on May 17, Doobie Brother on September 7 and Neil Diamond on October 19. The two free summer concerts are a Jimmy Buffett tribute on June 29 and The Rolling Stone tribute on August 10. 

Ticket prices are $25 General Admission and $45 VIP Reserved Seating. Information and tickets are available on the Guild's website,

Railroad Canyon Widening Project

The City of Lake Elsinore officially began construction on the west side of Railroad Canyon Road. The Railroad Canyon Road Widening Project is a substantial project that is tentatively estimated to be complete by the end of April 2019, though this date is subject to change due to weather conditions and other unforeseen delays.

Construction hours will be from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday and will include regular lane closures and reduced speeds throughout the project.

The Canyon Lake POA recently added several wifi antennas throughout Happy Camp. Campers can now enjoy wifi while camping at Happy Camp.

Have You Heard About Guest ePasses?

Guest access into Canyon Lake just got easier with dwellingLIVE's ePass option!  This new feature allows Canyon Lake POA members to email guest passes to their guests so they can either print the pass ahead of time, or the gate guard can scan their pass on their smartphone. Each manned lane is now equipped with wireless hand-held QR code scanners. Gate guards will issue parking passes to eligible visitors displaying their guest pass on their smartphone. As always, guards will verify the state-issued photo I.D matching the name on the ePass.

Modified Restaurant Hours - 1/18

The Canyon Lake POA is hosting its annual employee appreciation event on Friday, January 18. The Lighthouse Restaurant & Bar will be closed and the Country Club Bar & Grill will close early at 4 p.m. so employees can attend. Regular hours at both facilities will resume on Saturday, January 19. We appreciate your consideration and support as we congratulate the hard working staff at the Canyon Lake POA.


Board Workshops - Budget Review

The Canyon Lake POA will hold two Board Workshops to review and discuss the 2019/20 Budget. These workshops will be on a Wednesday, February 6 and Wednesday, February 13. Both workshops are scheduled at the Canyon Lake Lodge and in the evening at 6 p.m. 

Canyon Lake homeowners are welcome to attend Board Workshops and are reminded to bring their Canyon Lake POA ID card, as it may be used to verify membership.

Get Your RFID Transponder Now

The Canyon Lake POA is moving towards implementing RFID technology at all gates. RFID transponders are free for all Canyon Lake residents. To get your RFID transponder, please visit the Member Services office during regular business hours (Monday - Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturday from 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.) with your current vehicle registration and the vehicle in which you need the transponder for.  For more information contact Member Services office at 951.244.6841 x310 or visit during regular business hours.

RFID transponders will soon be mandatory for all Canyon Lake resident vehicles. Please come get yours as soon as possible.
