Mailbox Project

Mailbox Replacement Project
Group 7 Starts March 25


The Mailbox Replacement Project will continue with Group 7 starting March 25. Mail at affected locations will be held starting today, Friday, March 22. Mail will be held at the USPS Sun City Post Office located on Haun Road in Menifee. Normal mail delivery will resume on or before March 29.

Flick-n-Float Movie Night - Mar. 30

The pool is now open and we are kicking off another fun season with our first  Flick-n-Float Movie Night on Saturday, March 30. We will be showing the Walt Disney classic Aladdin. This is a free event for Canyon Lake POA members and their guests. The movie will start at dusk.

Free Senior Nutrition Program

The Senior Committee contacted various organizations inquiring about programs that offer free food assistance to seniors in Canyon Lake. The Riverside County Office on Aging offers home delivered meals to persons 60 years of age or older and spouses of someone 60 or older. This program is designed for those who have transportation or health issues that prevent them from taking care of their own nutritional needs. For more information about this program for either yourself, a family member or friend, or a neighbor please call 800.510.2020.

Great White Live - Apr. 6

American hard rock band, Great White is coming to the Canyon Lake Lodge on Saturday, April 6.  Great White gained popularity in the 1980s and early 1990s. Their arsenal of songs include the Grammy nominated Best Hard Rock Performance hit, “Once Bitten, Twice Shy".

General Admission tickets for this event are SOLD OUT. VIP Admission is $64. The doors for this show will open at 6:30 p.m. and the opening act starts at 7:30 p.m.

Easter Egg Hunt & Carnival - Apr. 13

The Canyon Lake Family Matter's Club invites you to join them for their annual Easter Egg Hunt & Carnival on Saturday, April 13. From 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Holiday Harbor will turn into an Easter carnival with games, crafts, face painting, prizes and more. Plus the Easter Bunny will be visiting and taking photos, and there will be Easter egg hunts.

Tour de Canyon Lake - Apr. 13

The Canyon Lake Triathlon & Fitness Club invites you to join them for a fun ride through Canyon Lake on Saturday, April 13. This event is free and open to all Canyon Lake residents and Canyon Lake Triathlon & Fitness club members. All ages and abilities are welcome. Helmets are required and the event starts at 9 a.m. at the Canyon Lake Lodge parking lot. Frank Sinatra Tribute Concert

The Canyon Lake Fine Arts Guild is bringing in Matt Mauser for an enchanting Frank Sinatra Tribute Concert on Friday, May 17. Mauser provides a mesmerizing experience by recreating the subtleties of Sinatra's smooth voice and unequaled phrasing. 
 
Ticket prices are $25 General Admission and $45 VIP Reserved Seating. Information and tickets are available on the Guild's website, www.canyonlakeguild.org.

Community Meeting - Mar. 26

All residents are welcome to attend this Special Meeting of the Canyon Lake City Council and Canyon Lake Property Owners Association on Tuesday, March 26 at 6 p.m. at the Canyon Lake Lodge. 

This meeting will be televised live on Spectrum (channel 29), Frontier (channel 39) and on the Canyon Lake POA's website.

Member Services Hours - Mar. 23

The Canyon Lake POA's Member Services office has a staff training event the morning of Saturday March, 23. The office will not be open until 11 a.m. on that day. Hours on March 23 will be 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Three of the five seats on the Canyon Lake POA's Board of Directors will be up for election in May 2019. The two-year term of Mike Harris, Phil Hawgood, and Tom Nathan are ending. Each of those members are also eligible to run for another term. Below are the members who intend to run for the 2019/21 Board of Directors.
