Ways To Vote

To meet quorum on Thursday, May 9 a total of at least 1,483 ballots must be received. To date, only 581 ballots have been received.  Please take the time to complete and return your ballot to this year's Inspector of Elections, HOA Elections of California. The last day it is recommended to return a ballot by mail is Friday, May 3. If you lost your ballot, contact HOA Elections of California at 951.667.7191. Please note, you cannot recast your vote once it has been submitted. 

Members may also return ballots at the Annual Meeting of the Members & Election of Directors on Thursday, May 9 between 8 a.m. and 9 a.m. at the Canyon Lake Lodge.

Be in the Fiesta Day Parade

Want to be in the Fiesta Day parade? Golf carts, bicycles, floats, trucks, trailers, and performance groups are all invited to join the Fiesta Day Parade. The parade application deadline is May 15. Entries must be decorated and there will be a float contest this year celebrating the theme “Fiesta Day Celebrates Hawaii" paying a special homage to Pearl Harbor. Participate by wearing your Hawaiian attire!

Happy Camp Memorial Weekend Reservations

Canyon Lake POA members may make Memorial Day weekend reservations at Happy Camp beginning May 11 at the Happy Camp office.  Members must have their Canyon Lake POA member card and must make a nonrefundable deposit for all days at the time of reservation. There is a three-night minimum stay on holiday weekends. Reservations are on a first-come, first-serve basis. For more information, contact Happy Camp at 951.244.6841 x651.

Check Out the Pickleball Courts

There are four lighted pickleball courts located at Eastport Park. Canyon Lake residents are welcome to use the courts at their leisure. There is also a Pickleball Club for those who want to learn more about the sport and make some new friends. The club has more than 100 members and hosts instructional clinics, lessons, potlucks, and more.

Veterans Helping Canyon Lake

The WAVES Project is a nonprofit established to provided an opportunity of American Veterans with service connected disabilities and their families to experience scuba diving. In recognition of Earth Day, the WAVES Project is conducting its first Environmental Dive Cleanup in Canyon Lake this Saturday, April 27. The group will meet at Holiday Harbor at 8:30 a.m. and they will be diving in the lake between 9 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. to collect trash and debris in the lake.

Start Your Morning with Yoga

Canyon Lake has two great yoga classes that take place on Wednesdays and Saturdays. 

Morning Yoga
Taught by Gina Kraut every Wednesday at 10 a.m. at the Lodge. Classes are $25 for five classes or $40 for ten classes. First class is free!

Yoga by the Lake
Taught by Dani Martin on Saturdays at 9 a.m. at Sunset Beach. Classes are $35 for five classes ore $60 for ten classes. 

Try your first class free for both classes! You can purchase classes at the Canyon Lake POA office.

Summer Swim Lessons & Water Polo 

Now's the time to start planning summer for your kids. What better way to spend it than by taking swimming lessons and water polo classes at the pool. Classes start June 17 and signups are available now.  Sign-ups for these lessons are available at the pool office.

The Mailbox Replacement Project will continue with Group 8 starting Monday, April 29. Mail at affected locations will stop on Friday, April 26.  Mailbox clusters being replaced in Group 8 are on the following streets:

Weed Abatement Reminders

To maintain the aesthetic appeal of the community of Canyon Lake, we want to remind residents of Section Vlll - Landscaping in the Planning and Compliance section of the Rules & Regulations. It is the members responsibility to maintain their lots in a weed-free condition throughout the year. 

Recently, 693 properties were found in violation of this policies in this section and other violations, and received letters with information to correct the violations. Of these, 250 have worked with the Planning & Compliance department to come into compliance.
