Ways To Vote

Today, May 3, is the last day
recommended to return your ballot by mail.


A total of 812 ballots have been returned, and 1,497 ballots are needed to make quorum and conduct the election. If you have not returned your ballot please mail it today.

When completing your ballot, please be sure to place your signature on the signature line located on the outside of return envelope “Election Materials (#2). Only the PRIME MEMBER can sign. If you do not sign your name on the indicated line, your vote WILL NOT BE COUNTED.
Ballots may also be dropped off on May 9 between 8 a.m. and 9 a.m.
at the Canyon Lake Lodge.



If you lost your ballot, contact HOA Elections of California at 951.667.7191 or fill out an online affidavit form at http://myhoavote.com (select Canyon Lake POA and use password clpoa0509). Please note, you cannot recast your vote once it has been submitted.

Be in the Fiesta Day Parade

Want to be in the Fiesta Day parade? Golf carts, bicycles, floats, trucks, trailers, and performance groups are all invited to join the Fiesta Day Parade. The parade application deadline is May 15. Entries must be decorated and there will be a float contest this year celebrating the theme “Fiesta Day Celebrates Hawaii" paying a special homage to Pearl Harbor. Participate by wearing your Hawaiian attire!

Mother's Day Spring Tea - 5/11

The Canyon Lake Woman's Club is hosting Mother's Day Spring Tea on Saturday, May 11 at 11 a.m. at the Senior Center. There will be scones with cream and jam, tea sandwiches, fruit and dessert. Wear your lovely hats and spring attire. Please bring your favorite cup and saucer. Adults are $25 and young ladies 5 to 13 are $15.

Happy Camp Memorial Weekend Reservations

Canyon Lake POA members may make reservations for Memorial Day weekend beginning May 11 at the Happy Camp office. Members must have their Canyon Lake POA member card and must pay a nonrefundable deposit for all days at the time of reservation. There is a three-night minimum stay on holiday weekends. Reservations are on a first-come, first-serve basis. For more information, contact Happy Camp at 951.244.6841 x651.

Check Out the Pickleball Courts

There are four lighted pickleball courts located at Eastport Park. Canyon Lake residents are welcome to use the courts at their leisure. There is also a Pickleball Club for those who want to learn more about the sport and make some new friends. The club has more than 100 members and hosts instructional clinics, lessons, potlucks, and more.

Girl Scouts Add Flowers to Equestrian Center

A big thank you to the Girls Scouts Troop #1953 who planted daisies at the Equestrian Center on Sunday, April 28. These flowers not only beautify the entrance of the Equestrian Center, but they are drought tolerant and low maintenance.

Water Aerobics

Looking for a great way to get in shape and have fun? Join Water Aerobics! Learn effective and safe combinations of movements to strengthen the heart and tone the body. Classes are available Monday through Friday at 8:30 a.m. for $2.50 per class, $20 for 10 classes, or $30 per month for unlimited classes. Summer Swim Lessons & Water Polo 

Now's the time to start planning summer for your kids. What better way to spend it than by taking swimming lessons and water polo classes at the pool. Classes start June 17 and signups are available now.  Sign-ups for these lessons are available at the pool office.

Regular Session Board Meeting - 5/7

The next Regular Session Board Meeting is this Tuesday, May 7 at 6 p.m. at the Canyon Lake Lodge. Canyon Lake homeowners are welcome to attend these meetings, but are reminded to bring their Canyon Lake POA ID card as it will be used to verify membership.

This meeting will be televised live on Spectrum cable channel 29, Frontier cable channel 39. Online the meeting will broadcast live on the Canyon Lake POA Facebook page and website at www.canyonlakepoa.com/watch.

Weed Abatement Reminders

To maintain the aesthetic appeal of the community of Canyon Lake, we want to remind residents of Section Vlll - Landscaping in the Planning and Compliance section of the Rules & Regulations. It is the members responsibility to maintain their lots in a weed-free condition throughout the year. 

Staff has been in the process of notifying members that need to complete the required maintenance. If you have received a letter, please contact the Planning & Compliance department at 951.244.6841 x320.
