Summer Kids Camps
It's hard to believe that summer is right around the corner! Have you made plans for your children yet? It's not too late to sign them up for summer kids camps taking place right here in Canyon Lake. 
Kids Camps

Cartoon Camp

Brian Manning, a talented Cartoonist, is coming to Canyon Lake this summer to teach kids how to draw awesome cartoons and comics. This camp will run June 10 through June 14 from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the Eastport Activities Room. The camp is for children ages 7 to 12. This camp is $100 and registration must be paid at the Canyon Lake POA office.

Junior Tennis Camp

If your child is interested in tennis, sign them up for this summer's Junior Summer Tennis Program hosted by the Canyon Lake Tennis Club and led by Head Tennis Pro Pete Walrod. There are different age levels available. To register, please contact the Head Tennis Pro Pete Walrod at 818.397.3806

Art Camp

Menifee Kids Art Camp is returning to Canyon Lake to offer a summer art camp at the Eastport Activities Room from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. June 17 through June 21. Students will acquire skills, knowledge, and confidence from this fun educational camp. This camp is $100 for the first child, additional siblings are $75. Space is limited! Sign your child up for this camp at the Canyon Lake POA office.

Junior Pickleball Clinic

The Canyon Lake Pickleball Club is holding a Junior Pickleball Clinic June 17 through June 19 for beginners between the ages of 11 to 14 (Canyon Lake residents only). Equipment will be provided. The three-day camp is $5. To register, please mail child’s name, parent’s name, address, email address and phone number to to Kimberly Keigwin at 30275 Point Marina Drive in Canyon Lake. Payment can be mailed along with registration form or paid the first night. Registration must be received by June 12. Parents are asked to accompany their juniors.

Summer Swim Lessons & Water Polo 

Now's the time to start planning summer for your kids. What better way to spend it than by taking swimming lessons and water polo classes at the pool. Classes start June 17 and signups are available now.  Sign-ups for these lessons are available at the pool office, but classes are filling up quickly so sign up soon!

Junior Golf Camp

Whether your player is swinging the club for the first time or looking to refine their skills, the Canyon Lake Golf & Country Club's Junior Golf Camp is a fun way for kids to learn the lifelong game of golf. By the end of the week, players will have learned fundamental skills, etiquette, rules, and sportsmanship. To sign up, visit the Golf Shop or call 951.246.1782.

Fiesta Day Coming Up Soon - 5/25

Fiesta Day is next week! This year's theme is "Fiesta Day Celebrates Hawaii" so we want to see everyone celebrate with us by wearing their favorite Hawaiian apparel. The parade begins at 9 a.m. and will end at entrance of the event which begins following the parade from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.  There will be a lot of festivities happening so be sure to check out the Fiesta Day website to play your day.

Meet Friends with Cards

Card groups are some of the best ways to meet friends and be social. Luckily for you, there are several card games that are regularly scheduled at the Senior Center! In fact, Pinochle is actively looking for new players and they play every Thursday at 6 p.m. How do you join? Just show up at the Senior Center, they are welcoming any new players, all skill levels.
