Parade Details

Parade Route

The parade will begin at Mayflower Drive and Canyon Lake Drive North at approximately 9 a.m. The parade will make its way down Canyon Lake Drive North and turn right onto Vacation Drive. From Vacation Drive, the parade will make its way to its new endpoint at Lighthouse Drive. The parade will not go past this point. Parade participants can either park or pull over to unload passengers on Lighthouse Drive or continue down Lighthouse Drive to Canyon Club Drive and on to Canyon Lake Drive North to exit the parade/event.

Road Closures & Parking Restrictions

Road Closures

On Saturday, May 25, the following roads will close at 8:30 a.m. until the parade ends at approximately 10:30 a.m.:

  • Canyon Lake Drive North (Steelhead Drive to Vacation Drive)
  • Canyon Club Drive
  • Lighthouse Drive
  • Vacation Drive (North of Lighthouse Drive intersection)
  • Canyon Lake Drive South at Village Way, including Main Causeway

Parade Parking Restrictions

On May 25, there will be No Parking from 6 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. on Canyon Lake Drive North (from Steelhead Drive to Vacation Drive and Lighthouse Drive intersection), Lighthouse Drive, Vacation Drive, and Canyon Club Drive. There will also be No Parking on the parade staging streets which are Mayflower Drive, Smugglers Point Drive, Sloop Drive, and Clear Water Drive.

Lodge Parking

There will be No Parking in the first two rows of the Lodge parking lot after 6 a.m. on Friday, May 24.  After 12 a.m. (midnight) there will be No Parking  in the remainder of the Lodge parking lot. Cars parked in the parking lot after this time will be cited and/or towed. The parking lot must be clear in order for the event to be set-up.  
Event Access & Traffic

Parking Requirements

Due to safety regulations mandated by Cal Fire beginning last year, there will be no event parking or vehicle access (including golf carts) past the intersection of Canyon Club Drive and Lighthouse Drive. There will be parking available on a first-come basis Canyon Club Drive, Lighthouse Drive, Vacation Drive,  and surrounding streets. Please note, parking will not be available on parade streets until AFTER the parade has ended. 

Handicap Parking

ADA Parking

ADA parking will be available at Holiday Harbor Park. There will be an ADA (wheelchair) accessible shuttle bus that will transport riders to the entrance of the event at the Kids Zone, upon request. For pick-up at the same area, a Community Patrol officer can assist in requesting the shuttle pick-up. 

Please note, all vehicle parking spots (23 total) at Holiday Harbor Park will be designated for handicap parking. Boat/trailer parking will still be available.

Park & Ride

Park & Ride For Easy Event Access!

Consider parking and riding one of our FREE shuttles this year! Shuttles will pick up and drop off from Eastport Park, Sierra Park and Gault Field, and Holiday Harbor Park and Blue Bird Hall. Shuttles will run continuously from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The last shuttle will leave the Lodge at approximately 4:15 p.m. 

Golf cart shuttles will transport patrons to the entrance of the event at the Kids Zone. Golf cart shuttles will be marked with signage that says "CLPOA Courtesy Shuttle". Shuttles will run 6 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. in loops from the corner of Lighthouse Drive and Vacation Drive, down Vacation Drive to Canyon Lake Drive South onward to Canyon Club Drive down the entrance of the event.

Enjoy jazzy tunes performed live by local high school students at Temescal Canyon High School. 
Men's Hula Contest
Polynesian Dancers

Watch a traditional Hawaiian dance show with eloquent Polynesian dancers. The dancers will also be taking vintage photos with patrons (must use your own camera) at the island at the entrance of the event from 10 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. 
Reptile Show

11:40 a.m. to 3 p.m.

This talented group of musicians will entertain the Fiesta Day crowd with world-class vocalists performing today's favorite hits cover all major genres.  

Hula Contest

Men's Hula Contest

Main Stage | 11:30 a.m.
When it comes to hula dancing people usually think of women in long grass skirts dancing eloquently to traditional Hawaiian music. However, this year we want Canyon Lake men to show off their hula skills, and the winner not only gets a prize but bragging rights too! The contest is sponsored by the Canyon Cowboy and the Canyon Lake POA. The contest starts at 11:30 a.m. on the main stage.

Remember Pearl Harbor

This year's theme is "Fiesta Day Celebrates 1940's Hawaii" paying special tribute to Pearl Harbor. Enter the Holiday Bay Room inside the Canyon Lake Lodge to view a dramatic timeline of events that happened during the tragic event and watch a documentary remember the events that occurred. America's White Table will also be located in the Holiday Bay Room

Get your adrenaline rushing on this 250 feet zipline that soars over Sunset Beach! Riders must be between 45lbs and 230lbs.

Test your climbing skills on this fun volcano rock climbing wall. Climbers must be between 45lbs and 200lbs. How high can you go?

Enjoy live music on the beach stage by local band One Guy & A Chick.

Enjoy amazingly talented parrots, macaws, and cockatoos performing impressive tricks on the beach stage. Pictures with the birds will take place after the show.
