Sizzling Summer Special



It's hot out, but not too hot to golf! Enjoy early twilight rates at the Canyon Lake Golf & Country Club and you could save up to $10. During the month of August twilight play begins at 11 a.m. for $30 and super twilight play begins at 1 p.m. for only $20. 

This offer is exclusively available to Canyon Lake residents and their guests, as well, as registered guests of non-resident annual Canyon Lake Golf & Country Club members. Residents must present their Canyon Lake POA ID card and reference this ad to take advantage of this offer.

Paddle & Pedal Regatta - Aug. 17

Join the Canyon Lake Triathlon Club for their 8th annual Paddle & Pedal Regatta at Indian Beach Park on Saturday, August 17. Bring your paddle board, kayak, pedal boat, or non powered paddle vessel for a fun non-competitive group cruise of the East Bay, followed by a BBQ lunch.  If you do not have a vessel that is appropriate for the event and still want to participate, contact the club and they may be able to accommodate.

Flick-n-Float Movie - Aug. 31

Come to the pool on August 31 for summer's final for Flick -n- Float Movie Night. The feature presentation will be the Disney Pixar film WALL-E, which is about the distant future, a small waste-collecting robot inadvertently embarks on a space journey that will ultimately decide the fate of mankind. 

Flick-n-Float movies are free for all Canyon Lake POA members. Please be sure to bring your Canyon Lake POA ID card. The movie will begin at dusk. All pool rules are enforced during these special events.

Get Ready for Maui Monday

Break out your favorite Hawaiian shirt or hula skirt and celebrate the end of summer Hawaiian style at the 7th annual Maui Monday on Labor Day, September 2, from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. This event, featuring food, fun, and entertainment is perfect for the whole family. DJ Mike Shroyer of Good Time Entertainment will provide the beach tunes along with dance, hula hoop, and limbo contests. Plus, there will be free leis available (supplies are limited). Once the sun goes down (approximately 8 p.m.) everyone will be invited to gather on the beach to watch hula dancers, Samoan drummers, and fire dances performed by the Professional Polynesian Entertainment Group.

Maintenance Work at Entrances

Maintenance work has been scheduled at all of the guard shacks at the entrances starting next week. The work may require intermittent single lane closures in the entrance lanes. Work will begin at the Main Gate on August 19 at 7 a.m. and should be completed within one day. East Gate work is scheduled for Tuesday, August 20 and Wednesday, August 21 and North Gate work will be on Thursday, August 22 and Friday, August 23. The LED signage will be updated at East Gate and North Gate in the event of lane closures.

Residents are reminded that from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. the North Gate decal/RFID lane is only RFID only. If you do not have RFID you must use the guest lane at that gate after 10 p.m.

RFID Free for Canyon Lake Residents! 

Did you know an estimated 12,000 vehicles come through the gates every day? The most efficient way for members to enter the community is with an RFID transponder affixed to their vehicle. The transponder allows vehicles to use the RFID lanes, which are much quicker. RFID transponders are free for all Canyon Lake POA members!
