    1. This application is for Canyon Lake residents who would like to purchase an annual golf membership at the Canyon Lake Golf & Country Club. If you are not a Canyon Lake resident but would like to purchase an annual golf membership please call the Golf Shop at 951.246.1782.

      If you are a returning 2019/20 annual golf member: The golf course was closed for a total of 35 days (March 20 – April 24). All renewing members will receive a discount on their new membership that equates to the 35 days of the course being closed.

      1. I have read, understand and will abide by the rules regarding operation of a golf cart in the Association. I understand that the decal shall be placed on the front, driver’s side of the cart.

      2. I understand that if I sell this cart or sell or transfer my Canyon Lake property, the decal must be returned to the Association before transfer/close of escrow.

      3. Homeowners are permitted to the use of their personally owned golf carts on the CLPOA common areas, but it is the responsibility of the Homeowner to personally insure their golf cart. Insuring a golf cart should be treated the same as of insuring a personal automobile. Canyon Lake’s insurance is strictly to cover Canyon Lake for liability arising out of suits against Canyon Lake, seeking damages for “bodily injury” or “property damage” arising out of the use of a registered golf cart owned or operated by a homeowner’s association member. It does not provide coverage for the homeowner’s association member for liability arising out of their ownership or operation of a registered golf cart.

      4. On behalf of myself, my family and our guests, i/we hereby acknowledge and agree to indemnify, release from any and all liability and hold harmless the association and its officers, directors, members, agents, attorneys, employees, insurers, heirs, assigns and representatives from and against any and all costs (including, but not limited to,reasonable attorneys’ fees and court costs), expenses, losses, damages, claims made or liabilities assessed against the association, for any injury occurring to me, my family members and/or our guests or our own personal belongings or to any third parties, as a result of any use of the cart.

      5. The undersigned further expressly agrees that the foregoing release, waiver and indemnity agreement is intended to be as broad and inclusive as is permitted by the law of the State of California and that if any portion thereof is held invalid, it is agreed that the balance shall notwithstanding continue in full force and effect. The undersigned has/have read this release and waiver of liability and indemnity clause and agree(s) that no oral representations, statements or inducement, apart from the agreement, have been made or will be honored unless expressly agreed upon by and in writing by the Association and the homeowner(s)/resident(s).
    19. Electronic Signature Agreement
      By checking the "I agree" box below, you agree and acknowledge that 1) your application will not be signed in the sense of a traditional paper document, 2) by signing in this alternate manner, you authorize your electronic signature to be valid and binding upon you to the same force and effect as a handwritten signature, and 3) you may still be required to provide a traditional signature at a later date.
