Work is moving along at Roadrunner Park. A wrought iron fence will be constructed on the hillside above and behind the restroom. The restroom contains its own sewer lift station as part of the design, to pump sewage from the building up to the sewer line in the street. The Road Pavement Project is scheduled to start on Monday, January 10. This initial phase will be to replace concrete cross gutters and spandrels at various locations. Damaged areas of concrete cross gutters will be thru Friday, January 21. Temporary no-parking signs will be posted in the work area 48 hours prior to work commencing. The Canyon Lake POA is looking for a weather window to do a seal coat on the Holiday Harbor parking lot. Should the weather be warm enough within the next couple of weeks dates will be scheduled the parking lot will be closed for two days to complete the seal. We now have a fully executed contract with our contractor, Premier Paving, Inc. This week our Operations team started repairs on our iconic 1969 lighthouse foundation by pouring a new concrete stem wall with additional steel reinforcement inside the structure. Once complete, the new interior concrete footing will extend above the water line, so the wooden structure will be attached completely above the water line. View Project Album

As we proceed, the need for our budgeted 10% contingency for unforeseen conditions continues to be greatly reduced. As a reminder, California boating law requires boaters to obtain and carry a California Boating Card (CBC) while operating a recreational motorized vessel on California waterways.
