Paycheck Protection Program Update

The Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) loan which funded in April 2020 has been forgiven by the Small Business Administration (SBA), as the Canyon Lake POA used those funds as intended, to continue to pay our affected employees during the COVID-19 shutdown. The California Department of Public Health today moved Riverside County into the red tier of the state’s reopening framework, allowing for more businesses to resume indoor operations. Riverside County Moves To Purple Tier

Effective immediately Riverside County is now back to the Purple Tier. The Regional Stay At Home Order put in place in early December has been lifted. Restaurants may reopen for outdoor dining and we will update this page once we have determined our re-open date for both restaurants. Happy Camp will be open effective today, January 25. Playgrounds Open

Today (December 9, 2020) the State of California provided an update to the Regional Stay Home Order, playgrounds are now allowed to be open to facilitate physically distanced personal health and wellness through outdoor exercise. Indoor & Outdoor Dining Closed At Restaurants

In order to comply with new regional COVID-19 restrictions, effective on Sunday, December 6 at 11:59 p.m. (24 hours after orders go into effect, as mandated), we will close both indoor and outdoor dining at both restaurants, and go to takeout and DoorDash (currently available at the Country Club Bar & Grill and coming soon to the Lighthouse) only. We want to use the utmost caution in this situation, as well as keep our staff healthy and minimize risk. Riverside County Moves To Purple Tier

On Tuesday, October 20, the State announced Riverside County (including Canyon Lake) moved back to purple tier. As such, indoor dining is not permitted while we remain in this tier for at least the next three weeks. Lighthouse Restaurant Scheduled To Open

L.A. Guns Concert Rescheduled

The L.A. Guns concert scheduled for September 18 has been rescheduled for February 13, 2021. Ticket holders tickets will be good for the rescheduled date.

2020 Car Show Canceled

After considering all possible options with the COVID-19 restrictions, the Canyon Lake Car Club and Car Show Planning Committee have made the decision to cancel their show for 2020. This was a difficult decision for the club to make, but health and safety concerns for their members and community is top priority.

New State Orders

Per the State orders issued today ( view Executive order ), all indoor dining rooms and bars in Riverside County are closed for the next 3 weeks. The Country Club and Lighthouse restaurants will still be open, for outdoor and takeout dining, only. As of now, the 20 minute fireworks show planned for Saturday at 9 p.m. is still scheduled. State Health Order Issued

Governor Newsom and the California Department of Public Health issued an order on June 18 mandating that face coverings must be worn when outside of the home, including outdoor public spaces whenever social distancing is not feasible. The Canyon Lake POA will be complying with this and all employees and members visiting our offices and amenities will be required to wear face coverings.

State Modified Stay At Home Orders

On May 8, the State of California modified its Stay at Home Orders as we enter into the first phase of “Stage Two”. This means in addition to essential activity, curbside retail is allowed, and as of May 12, offices are also permitted to open again. Falling in line with the State, on May 9, Riverside County also rescinded additional requirements they had placed on residents. [...]
