Harmony McNaughton is an accomplished professional with extensive corporate administration experience and a strong communication background. As the Director of Corporate Administration, she provides support, guidance, coordination, planning, and supervision across the corporate business side and disciplinary departments and functions, including Corporate Administration, Clerk of the Board, Planning & Compliance, Hearing Services, Community & Marine Patrol, and Corporate Communications.

Harmony is a key member of the corporate team and has proven adept at managing crisis communications with professionalism and effectiveness. Her skill in navigating challenging situations has earned her a reputation as a reliable executive. Since joining the Canyon Lake POA in 2007, Harmony has made significant contributions to various projects, such as implementing a robust orientation and training program for new and returning board members; creating an efficient records management program; assisting in the protection of millions of dollars’ worth of common interests and property for the membership; managed the financial relief program that resulted in a quarter million dollars’ worth of waived fines while increasing member compliance with the governing documents; and assisted in the nearly $1.4 million sale of the Canyon Lake POA’s Fire Station property to the City of Canyon Lake.

Having been in the Canyon Lake POA Corporate office for more than 12 years, Harmony brings expertise to her role, including employee development, policy writing, records management, and election management. Her extensive experience in copywriting and editing has been critical to PIO initiatives and governing document rewrites; resulting in improved organizational processes. In her prior administrative and clerk roles, she has ensured compliance with governing documents and laws while providing innovative policy development for the association and community.

Harmony's leadership skills are exemplary as demonstrated by her peers though professional nominations in the industry. She is skilled in project management, board clerk administration, community engagement and risk mitigation. Harmony's customer-service approach to community relations and her ability to foster positive and productive relationships has lent greatly to the corporation’s efforts in transparency and trust building. She plays a pivotal role at board meetings, providing essential information and insights to support decision-making.

Harmony's commitment to excellence is evident in her achievements, including being a member of Lambda Pi Eta and the Communications Honor Society, as well as making the Dean's List during college. Additionally, she is certified as a Community Association Manager (CMCA) and Large-Scale Community Manager (CCAM-LS), demonstrating her dedication to the association industry. She maintains a position as a founding member on the California Association of Community Managers (CACM) PR Committee. Most recently, she received the CACM Innovator Award in 2024, a prestigious recognition for her work at the Canyon Lake POA. Harmony's dedication to customer service, professionalism, and expertise in her field make her a significant asset to the Canyon Lake POA.
