The Canyon Lake POA is currently accepting applications for a bartender position at the Lighthouse Restaurant & Bar. This position interfaces with members, residents and their guests, business persons, vendors as well as management and other staff of the Canyon Lake POA. The Bartender must be friendly, professional and responsive to the needs of the members, residents and guests of the restaurant. Represent the Canyon Lake POA in a positive manner and work with all employees as a team in order to achieve maximum productivity and guest satisfaction.

Basic Functions and Duties

  • Prepare drinks in a timely manner for guest and servers
  • Keep up to date and the newest drink recipes and trends
  • Obtain any applicable permits, licenses or classes as required by state or local governments
  • Maintain all health and safety standards, Canyon Lake POA policy and procedures
  • Keep all equipment and work area in the bar clean and sanitary
  • Performs other tasks and duties as assigned

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or possession of a GED certificate from a recognized agency
  • Must be able to work various shifts including weekends, evenings and holidays
  • Must be 21 years of age or older
  • Posses a Riverside County Food Handlers Card
  • Must pass drug screening and background check
  • Good communication/interpersonal skills, ability to work well with the general public, Ability to work in a team environment
  • Some computer knowledge and basic math skills
  • Must have at least 3 years of bartending experience
