The Canyon Lake POA is currently accepting applications for a Part-time Dishwasher at the Lighthouse Restaurant & Bar.

Job Summary

The Busser position sets up, cleans up, and sanitizes the dining room area and service end of the back of the house. Interacts with all members and guests, providing excellent customer service on a demand basis. Also, provides assistance to all restaurant floor service employees.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Performs set up, clean up, overturn, and sanitation of the dining room area and service end of the back of the house
  • Carries dirty dishes, glasses and silverware on a tray from the dining room to servers/bus station and places them in appropriate containers, such as bus tubs or silverware containers
  • Wipes table tops clean with a damp cloth and removes any crumbs on chairs
  • Replaces table settings with silverware and glassware
  • Replenishes silverware and glassware in the server’s station for the next day
  • Serves ice water, coffee, iced tea, hot tea or soda for patrons and provides refills as needed
  • Makes coffee and iced tea as needed in server station
  • Provides customers with bread and butter on appropriate events
  • Checks food on the buffet line and informs cook what food items are needed
  • Breaks down all boxes. Empties all trash cans during the shift and at the end of the night. Takes trash to parking lot bins & closes the gate
  • Provides accurate communication and assistance to all service staff members
  • Listens to and evaluates complaints or comments by guests and reports them to management as requested
  • Observes all areas of contact and reports needs and deficiencies to management
  • Performs other tasks and duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Possess a Riverside County Food Handlers Card
  • Able to stand for six hours on a regular basis.
  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Good communication / Ability to work in a team environment
  • Must pass a drug screening and background check
