Lodge Closed Tonight

Due to a water line leak near Sunset Beach, the water will be shut off for repairs. As a result, the Lodge, including the Lighthouse Restaurant, Sunset Lounge and Terrace, and the pool, will be closed for the remainder of this evening, Friday, September 20. Park & Beach Fall Hours

As we say hello to fall, please note that our park and beach hours change. On October 1, parks will open at 8 a.m. and close at 8 p.m. These hours will continue into spring until April 30, 2025. For more information about our parks, visit our Parks page .

Longhorn Drive Lane Closure

SCE Inspections

As part of the wildfire prevention and mitigation program, Southern California Edison (SCE) will be conducting inspections in Canyon Lake using drones and/or helicopters over the next few weeks. The focus of these operations is to keep our community safe by inspecting electrical equipment on poles and towers and to identify any damage or potential hazard that may need immediate repair.

2023 – 2024 Annual Report

The Canyon Lake POA's 2023 – 2024 Annual Report is available online at www.clpoa.com/annualreport . Notification letters will be sent to all homeowners with details on accessing the report online. Printed booklets will be available at our office within the next couple of weeks.

Fuel Sales Open

Gas and propane sales at Happy Camp have reopened today, August 23. After working closely with our insurance brokers, we have secured the necessary coverage to resume these essential services. We appreciate your patience and understanding during the brief closure as we navigated the challenging insurance market in California. Now, we're ready to fuel your adventures once again!

Pool Fall Hours

As we say goodbye to summer and hello to fall, note that our pool hours will change. Beginning Monday, September 2, lap swim and exercise swim will be 7 a.m. to 10 a.m. daily, and open swim will be 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. daily. For more information about the pool, visit www.clpoa.com/pool .

Happy Camp Labor Day Weekend Reservations

Close out the summer at Happy Camp! For Labor Day weekend, reservations at Happy Camp are available only in person beginning tomorrow, August 16, at 8 a.m. at the campground office. Rates on Labor Day weekend are $65 for lakefront with water, electric, and sewer; $60 for off-water with water, electric, and sewer; $55 for tent sites; and $5 for an extra car fee.

Temporary Fuel Sales Closure

Due to the challenging insurance market in California, our insurance brokers are still pursuing coverage for the Marine Gas and Propane sales at Happy Camp. All our insurance policies renew tonight at midnight, and the Canyon Lake POA is facing very high rate increases due to the California wildfires and the current state of insurance all over California.
