Spray Drive and Channel Way are being worked on this week, however due to the weather paving has been postponed until tomorrow February 24 and Friday, February 25. Phase 1 of the Road Reconstruction started this week. The roads in Phase 1 are Channel Way Drive, Spray Drive, Windward Drive, and Steelhead Drive. This phase is on schedule to be completed by February 25. This week the paving started on the pump track at Sierra Park North. The remainder of the park continues to be under construction, the retaining walls are complete, site grading continues and site utilities are being installed. The entire park will remain closed during construction, and is expected to be complete by July 2022. All of our active construction sites are off-limits to residents [...]

The Canyon Lake POA office (including Member Services) is closed on Monday, February 21 in observation of the President's Day holiday. Regular hours will resume on Tuesday, February 22. 

Work is moving along at Roadrunner Park and the restrooms are anticipated to be completed mid-next month. Once the restroom is complete, we will be rehabilitating the horseshoe pits. Due to some issues with shallow utilities, the streets included in Phases 1 through 3 have been modified.  Phase 1 is scheduled to begin on February 14. At the Regular Session Board Meeting on February 1, the Board approved funding for the remodel of the restrooms at Happy Camp. Over 170 general contractors were invited to review the bid documents in December and five bids were received. The project schedule is being developed and while work is going on temporary restrooms will be brought on site to accommodate those staying at Happy Camp. [...]

The start dates for the Road Reconstruction Project have been delayed. Several factors have contributed to this delay. Due to widespread Covid-19, concrete deliveries for the replacement cross gutters have been an issue due to the lack of available truck drivers. The Holiday Harbor Parking Lot will have a seal coat applied and trailer spaces will be re-striped in their wider configuration. Due to a weather dealy, this project will take place on Wednesday, January 19 and Thursday, January 20 and during this time, the parking lot will be closed. The majority of the largest mechanically stabilized earth retaining wall is complete at Sierra Park North and the site is starting to take its final rough graded shape. The Road Pavement Project is scheduled to start on Monday, January 10. This initial phase will be to replace concrete cross gutters and spandrels at various locations. The Canyon Lake POA is looking for a weather window to do a seal coat on the Holiday Harbor parking lot. Should the weather be warm enough within the next couple of weeks dates will be scheduled the parking lot will be closed for two days to complete the seal. Installation of the new shade structures continues at Sierra Park. The walk way around the playground will be poured on Monday, January 10.
