Once the restroom is complete Roadrunner Park will be an even more attractive option for private gatherings, events and activities. Installation of the new shade structures continues at Sierra Park. Both structures are in place and the green roof trim color will ultimately be updated to match the blue roof. Road Pavement Project Update

We now have a fully executed contract with our contractor, Premier Paving, Inc. Pavement improvements on our roads is scheduled to begin at the end of January 2022. This project will be jointly overseen by the Canyon Lake POA management and GMU Pavement Engineering who will also be providing inspection, observation, and testing services to ensure a quality project. Canyon Lake POA Holiday Hours

The Canyon Lake POA Office (including Member Services) will be closed Thursday, November 25 through Saturday, November 26. Regular hours will resume on Monday, November 29. Road Pavement Project

Lighthouse Foundation

This week our Operations team started repairs on our iconic 1969 lighthouse foundation by pouring a new concrete stem wall with additional steel reinforcement inside the structure. Once complete, the new interior concrete footing will extend above the water line, so the wooden structure will be attached completely above the water line. View Project Album

Diamond Point Playground

We are excited to announce that construction has started on the new playground at Diamond Point Park! We anticipate this new playground will be completed by the end of October. Please follow all posted signage around the work area.

Boater Card Reminder

As a reminder, California boating law requires boaters to obtain and carry a California Boating Card (CBC) while operating a recreational motorized vessel on California waterways. RFID Transponder Update Reminder

Flock Cameras Installed

In cooperation with the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department, the Canyon Lake POA recently installed multiple flock cameras at the community exits. The City of Canyon Lake also installed their new flock cameras last week. Mailbox Lighting

The Canyon Lake POA is in the process of installing motion activated lights at the mailbox clusters throughout the community. Approximately half of the clusters have newly installed motion activated lights that turn on when motion is detected. Sierra Park North Development Update

This week we continued working with our Soils Engineer, EVMWD, the Contractor and our Civil Engineer on the project to develop and implement several important modifications to the site and grading plan. Fall Hours at Pool

The pool is now on fall hours and is open daily from 7 a.m. to 10 a.m. for lap swim and water aerobics and from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. for open swim. Starting November 1, the pool will only be open until 7 p.m. and the last day of the pool season is November 28.

COVID-19 Update

California is moving Beyond the Blueprint to safely and fully reopen the economy. Paycheck Protection Program Update

The Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) loan which funded in April 2020 has been forgiven by the Small Business Administration (SBA), as the Canyon Lake POA used those funds as intended, to continue to pay our affected employees during the COVID-19 shutdown. Riverside County Moves To Purple Tier

Effective immediately Riverside County is now back to the Purple Tier. The Regional Stay At Home Order put in place in early December has been lifted. Playgrounds Open
