The fuel pump at the gas dock at Happy Camp will be temporarily closed all day on Friday, January 10, for annual testing on the equipment. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

As a reminder, the Pool at the Canyon Lake Lodge closes on Sunday, December 1, for the end of the season. The Pool will reopen in the spring of 2025. We look forward to seeing you then!

Please be advised of a scheduled SoCal Edison power outage on Monday, December 2, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. that will affect Gault Field and the Equestrian Center.

All fields at Gault Field close for overseeding starting Monday, November 25. The fields will reopen in early January. We look forward to playing ball in 2025!

On Friday, November 1, winter pool hours go into full effect. Lap Swim is still from 7 a.m. to 10 a.m., but open swim is from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Additionally, from Monday, November 25, to Sunday, December 1, open swim hours are reduced: 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. On Thanksgiving, November 28, the pool is closed. The pool will be closed on Monday, October 28, for maintenance. The pool reopens on Tuesday, October 29, at 7 a.m. for lap swim and exercise. Open swim begins at 10 a.m. and lasts until 8 p.m. Thank you for your patience and understanding.

Halloween is right around the corner! Please remember that the pool closes early at 5 p.m. on Halloween day, October 31. Also starting November 1, the pool hours will change. As we say hello to fall, please note that our park and beach hours change. On October 1, parks will open at 8 a.m. and close at 8 p.m. These hours will continue into spring until April 30, 2025. For more information about our parks, visit our Parks page .

Gas and propane sales at Happy Camp have reopened today, August 23. After working closely with our insurance brokers, we have secured the necessary coverage to resume these essential services. We appreciate your patience and understanding during the brief closure as we navigated the challenging insurance market in California. Now, we're ready to fuel your adventures once again!

Close out the summer at Happy Camp! For Labor Day weekend, reservations at Happy Camp are available only in person beginning tomorrow, August 16, at 8 a.m. at the campground office. Rates on Labor Day weekend are $65 for lakefront with water, electric, and sewer; $60 for off-water with water, electric, and sewer; $55 for tent sites; and $5 for an extra car fee.

Due to the challenging insurance market in California, our insurance brokers are still pursuing coverage for the Marine Gas and Propane sales at Happy Camp. All our insurance policies renew tonight at midnight, and the Canyon Lake POA is facing very high rate increases due to the California wildfires and the current state of insurance all over California. On Friday, May 31, the restrooms at Eastport Park and water to the drinking fountains at the dog park were turned off for an emergency water line repair. The water lines were repaired on Saturday, June 1. The restrooms and water to the drinking fountains have been turned back on and are available for use.

Kick off Fiesta Hopper early by chilling out at the pool! Today, May 24, summer hours go into full effect. Lap Swim is extended from 6 a.m. to 10 a.m., while open swim is extended from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday – Thursday and 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Friday and Saturday. On May 8, 2024, water samples were collected from Happy Camp, Holiday Harbor, Indian Beach, Sierra Park, and Sunset Beach and were sent for testing.
