Our Fiesta event is considered one of Canyon Lake’s most iconic events. Celebrating over 45 years, this annual tradition that brings together neighbors, friends, and family together for an old-fashioned hometown parade through the streets of Canyon Lake, followed by lots of Fiesta fun and activities all throughout the community. This year's event will take place on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday! Three days of Fiesta Fun and 5 great locations throughout the community!
SCHEDULE OF FUN!
Fiesta Hopper is all about lake life as we pay homage to all of the lake activities we are fortunate enough to experience living in Canyon Lake. This includes camping, water sports, swimming, fishing, skiing and so much more! This year we will have a petting zoo, carnival booths, waterslides, cornhole, face painters, rockwall, reptile show, spider wall, tubs ride, and vendor booths. Please note, activities and food vendors are subject to change.

Parade Route
Parade Date: Saturday, May 27 | Starts at approximately 9 a.m.
Starting Point: Canyon Lake Drive North & Mayflower Drive
End Point: Lighthouse Drive
The parade will begin at Mayflower Drive and Canyon Lake Drive North at approximately 9 a.m. on Saturday, May 27. The parade will make its way down Canyon Lake Drive North and turn right onto Vacation Drive. From Vacation Drive, the parade will make its way to its new endpoint, Lighthouse Drive. Parade participants can either park or pull over to unload passengers on Lighthouse Drive or continue down Lighthouse Drive to Canyon Club Drive and on to Canyon Lake Drive North to exit the parade/event. Please note, that Canyon Club Drive and Lighthouse Drive will not be designated as one way this year, so parade participants unloading passengers are being asked to pull-off to the sides and not block traffic. Parade Reminders
- Closure of streets starts at 8:30 a.m.
- The parade starts at 9 a.m. at Canyon Lake Drive North and Mayflower Drive. The parade ends at Vacation Drive and Lighthouse Drive.
- The Parade Staging Streets are Spray Drive, Smugglers Point Drive, Sloop Drive, and Clearwater Drive. Line-up begins at 7 a.m. Staging streets will re-open after the parade ends at approximately 10 a.m.
- There will be portable public restrooms along the parade route on the corners of Canyon Lake Drive/Vacation Drive and Lighthouse Drive/Vacation Drive and near staging streets.
Road Closures & Parking Advisories
Road Closures
The following streets will close at 8:30 a.m. and remain closed until after the parade ends:
- Canyon Lake Drive North (Evans Park to Vacation Drive Stop sign)
- Vacation Drive (From the Stop sign to Lighthouse Drive)
- Village Way at Main Causeway Closed
- Canyon Club Drive and Lighthouse Drive will be the exit route for the parade participants to head toward any of the five locations festivities are planned at. Please note, Sierra Park and Eastport Park will be accessible after the parade clears.
- Canyon Club Drive and Lighthouse Drive will be the exit route for the parade participants.
Restricted Parking
- No Parking from 6 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, May 27, on Canyon Lake Drive North (from Steelhead Drive to Vacation Drive) and Vacation Drive to Lighthouse Drive.

Applications for this event are due no later than May 15, 2023.

VOLUNTEER
It takes many volunteers to put on this event for the community. This holiday weekend is considered to be the granddaddy of all Canyon Lake events, has been the “opening event for summer” for more than 40 years. The Canyon Lake POA is always seeking volunteers to help coordinate this community event. With each passing year, the event has grown in popularity, attracting over 10,000 spectators. In the past, Fiesta Hopper has been a one-day affair, but this event has expanded to now span over three days, taking place on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday! This means three full days of Fiesta Fun at multiple different locations throughout the community, promising an unforgettable experience for all who attend.
