About The Pavement Improvement Project

The Canyon Lake POA is reconstructing and maintaining its vast road and parking lots network spanning nearly 8 million square feet. Year 1 began in 2022 and focused on 55 segments of streets covering 1,300,000 square feet. In June 2023, the Canyon Lake POA Board approved $7,800,000 for Year 2 of this project. With a current balance of $8,818,629 in the Road Reserve and Road Litigation funds, augmented by additional funds from the sale of the fire station property, the Canyon Lake POA is well-equipped to execute the Year 2 phase effectively. The aim is to improve all 37 miles of roads and parking lots, with 40% of which will be completed by the end of Year 2. The ongoing strategy involves maintaining an investment of over $2 million annually for the coming years, prioritizing the rehabilitation of roads with the most severe conditions first. This emphasizes the importance of consistent funding from the Board of Directors for the Road Reserve Fund.
