Member of the Month

The June Member of the Month is Doug Schultz. For over 20 years, Doug has been organizing music events, including our beloved Concerts at the Lodge. His connections to the music industry have been instrumental in bringing top-tier talent to our community for over a decade of standout performances. Doug was the driving force behind CountryFest over Memorial Weekend, which was a smashing success far exceeding expectations. Doug's dedication to providing entertainment to the community is self-evident in the high-quality shows he puts on.

Employee of the Quarter

The Employee of the Quarter is Laura Flores. As the manager of the Canyon Lake Lodge, Laura oversees the Lighthouse Restaurant and the Sunset Lounge and Terrace. Unafraid of rolling up her sleeves and applying elbow grease, Laura has demonstrated commitment to her work in various ways, such as planting flowers in the Sunset Terrace planters right before the grand re-opening in February 2024. Her dedication to a superior customer experience is reflected in her personal interactions with members and her employees.

EVMWD Proposed Rate Adjustments

Elsinore Valley Municipal Water District (EVMWD) is considering rate adjustments for water, wastewater and recycled water services that will affect your future bills.

Why rate adjustments are being considered:
• Costs of imported water continue to rise
• Higher energy and chemical prices drive up the cost of treatment
• Aging infrastructure requires upgrades and investments
• New state and federal regulations require more spending to ensure compliance

The EVMWD Board of Directors is facilitating a public hearing on Thursday, June 26 at
4 p.m. in the EVMWD Boardroom 31315 Chaney St., Lake Elsinore, CA to consider the adoption of proposed water service rate adjustments that would be effective for the next four years (July 1, 2025 through
June 30, 2029)

Learn more about the proposed rate adjustments.
