Service Provider Access

As 4th of July draws near, we want to share some important information about community access during this exciting season. First, if you are inviting guests into the community, please utilize our e-pass service, which emails or texts your guests their pass. This will expedite their entry into the community and keep the lines moving expediently. Also, please note that service providers are not permitted into the community 4th of July weekend (July 4 through July 6). Examples of service providers include contractors, delivery drivers (like DoorDash or pizza delivery), furniture deliveries, HVAC services, home cleaning services, landscapers/pool services, plumbing services, ride share apps (like Uber or Lyft). Please note, this does not apply to in-home health care services.

If you have a service provider needing access to the community, please add them as a temporary guest for the day.

Lodge Parking

On the 4th of July, access to The Lodge parking lot will be restricted to pedestrians starting at 4 p.m. Our patrol team will manage entry, allowing one vehicle in as another leaves. Please note that individuals requiring ADA access may be dropped off at the Lodge.

All vehicles, including golf carts, must be parked in designated parking spots. Be aware that parking violations will result in fines, which increase during holiday weekends.

Park & Beach Setup Hours

Please be advised that all parks and beaches in the community will be open from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. on July 4th. Access is first-come, first-served basis. Community Patrol will be actively enforcing park hours. Entry or leaving personal property before the specified opening time is not allowed. Any property left prior will be collected by the Canyon Lake POA and can be retrieved 24 hours a day at Bluebird Hall through the following Monday, July 7. Any property not claimed before July 7 will be considered abandoned and disposed of. Please note, the Canyon Lake POA is not liable for the loss or damage of these items.

Boat Registration

Unregistered boats are not permitted on the lake. Marine Patrol will be verifying boats for current registration at all launch ramps throughout the July 4th weekend. Unregistered boats are subject to fines, which increase over holiday weekends. Those who need to have a safety inspection completed on their boats to register them should call Marine Patrol at 951.244.6841 x415 to schedule an appointment.

Sign Up for the Camera Program!

Do you live on the Canyon Lake golf course? Help protect our beloved course from vandalism by enrolling in the Canyon Lake Camera Program. By joining this voluntary program, you are joining a community-wide effort to deter crime, preserve the community, and assist law enforcement when incidents happen nearby.

The Canyon Lake Camera Program allows community residents with surveillance systems to voluntarily add themselves to a list that the Riverside County Sheriff's Department and Canyon Lake POA may refer to if a criminal incident occurred nearby. By signing up for this program, the Canyon Lake POA and/or law enforcement may contact you when these criminal incidents occur to help solve the crime by requesting to review the video footage your system may have captured.
