Member of the Month

The January Member of the Month is Paul Hawker. Paul served three years as the Pickleball Club President, helping grow participation, recruit new members, and strengthen overall use of the courts as the sport continued to gain momentum in the community. He now continues to serve the community by being a member of both the Senior Work Group and Recreation Committee. He also remains an active member of the Pickleball Club and is involved with both the Canyon Lake Guild and the Canyon Lake Yacht Club. Through the Yacht Club in particular, he participates in nearly every event, including the Parade of Lights, and consistently goes above and beyond by donating free boat rides to Canyon Lakers who do not own boats. He also helps ferry residents to and from the Lodge during major events like Fiesta Day and HarborFest.

Lions Club Canned Soup Drive

The Canyon Lake Lions Club is running a canned soup drive to benefit Helping Hands that ends this Sunday, January 11.

Collection boxes are available at the Senior Center and at seven homes around Canyon Lake.
