We need 1,600 ballots returned to meet quorum on May 14.

The last day to submit your ballot online is May 14 before 9 a.m. The last day to return your paper ballot by USPS mail is May 7, or drop it off at the ballot box at the Community Patrol office on Blue Bird Drive until May 13. Who to Call for Water Quality Concerns

Water quality in Canyon Lake can be affected by a variety of issues, including temperature, stormwater run-off, lake turnover, algae blooms, and changes in water clarity. Lake Elsinore and San Jacinto Watersheds Authority (LESJWA) is currently conducting additional water testing and analyzing samples taken from some of the fish. Generally, fish mortality is due to reduced or diffused oxygen levels in lake water, which can be caused by lake turnover or algae blooms. We will report back to the community when any test results are shared with us.

In the meantime, several different entities are responsible for different aspects of water quality in and for Canyon Lake. These include the Canyon Lake POA, LESJWA, Elsinore Valley Municipal Water District (EVMWD), and the City of Canyon Lake. For details on the responsibilities of each and how to contact them for your specific concern, visit our Who to Call for Water Quality Concerns page.
