Canyon Lake Little League
Hit, Pitch & Run Fundraiser

Hit, pitch, and run with the Canyon Lake Little League tomorrow, September 19, from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Gault Field to honor the life and legacy of Coach Eric Frega, a beloved Marine veteran, coach, and founder of the American Cancer Fighter Foundation. Filled with fun baseball skill competitions, this event is for ages 7 to 14 and all skill levels. 

Check-in starts at 4:30 p.m. Bring your own baseball glove. Participate for just $30 per person. Register today!

All proceeds benefit the American Cancer Fighter Foundation, a veteran-founded non-profit organization committed to combat cancer through early detection and prevention education.

HarborFest 2025

The annual HarborFest celebration hosted by the Canyon Lake Guild returns this Saturday, September 20! From 1 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Holiday Harbor, enjoy a FREE day filled with fun, food, music, and more!

This year's event promises to be bigger and better than ever, featuring live performances by "Woody & the Harrelsons" at 4 p.m. and popular Jimmy Buffett tribute band "Jimmy's Buffet" at 7 p.m.

Canyon Lake Guild FREE Concert
"Jimmy's Buffet"

Vibe to the sounds of live steel pans, vibrant congas, and rich Caribbean harmonies this Saturday, September 20, at the FREE HarborFest concert featuring "Jimmy's Buffet," a Jimmy Buffett tribute band. At
7 p.m. at the Holiday Harbor amphitheater, soak in the beach-loving spirit full of sing-alongs, dancing, and a wild stage show that feels like an endless summer night.

Hear all the classic hits: "Margaritaville," "Fins," and "A Pirate Looks at Forty," along with deep cuts that make every true Buffett fan feel right at home.

Bingo!

Grab your daubers and get ready to shout "Bingo!" on Sunday, September 21, at the Senior Center. The buy-in is $13 for a 10-pack of bingo sheets, and two special games are available for $1 each. There is a Hot Ball opportunity, and buy-in is only $1! Doors open at 12 p.m., and calling starts at 1 p.m. sharp, so get there before the doors close. Everyone 18 or older is welcome!

Every 1st and 3rd Sunday of the month, the Lions Club hosts a bingo fundraiser event at the Senior Center.

Community Garage Sale

Say goodbye to summer with our last Community Garage Sale of the year on Saturday, September 27, and Sunday, September 28! Gather all the trinkets and hopefully-this-isn't-an-heirloom objects in your attics and your closets to sell at the garage sale! This weekend event community sale allows residents to have a garage sale without obtaining a garage sale permit. All items must be removed from the front lot by 5 p.m. on Sunday, September 28. Residents with items in the front lot that are in violation of the Rules & Regulations may be subject to fines. Sign up by Wednesday, September 24, to be included on our interactive garage sale map!

Our twice-annual weekend event community sale allows residents to have a garage sale without obtaining a garage sale permit. Garage sales held on alternative dates must still obtain a garage sale permit and follow the Rules & Regulations related to garage sales.

Oktoberfest Potluck

This month's Senior Center Potluck is Oktoberfest style! On Sunday, September 28, at 5 p.m. at the Senior Center, join the Senior Work Group for a fabulous Oktoberfest meal. Just bring your favorite beverage and a dessert to share!

The 19th Annual Canyon Lake Car Show cruises down to the Canyon Lake Lodge at
9 a.m. on Saturday, October 4!

Have a pre-2004 or specialty vehicle you want to show and shine on the lake? Fill out the Canyon Lake Car Show registration form and mail it with an enclosed check of $45 for a chance to star in the show! Registered cars receive a show T-shirt and dash plaque. Learn more at our Car Show page.

Mermaids of Canyon Lake
2026 Calendar Photo Contest

Calling all shutterbugs! The Mermaids of Canyon Lake are hosting a photo contest for their 2026 Canyon Lake Calendar featuring photos of our beautiful community taken anytime in 2025. Submit your landscape, high-resolution photo to Nicole Taylor at [email protected] to be entered into the contest for a chance to win!

Individual month winners will win a prize valued at $50, while the calendar cover winner will win prize valued at $100. Photos will be judged by a professional local photographer.

The deadline to submit is Monday, October 6, so send in your photo today! Winners will be announced on October 13.

Dock-or-Treat

Trick-or-treat in style on the lake on Saturday, October 18, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. with the Canyon Lake Yacht Club's Dock-or-Treat! Dress up for Halloween and trick-or-treat from yours or a friend's boat. Pull up to docks around the lake to fill up on your favorite Halloween candy. Invite friends to join you! Canyon Lake Library
Kindle Challenge

The Canyon Lake Library is hosting a Beanstack challenge for kids and teens! From now until November 15, children aged 6 to 12 years old and teens aged 13 to 18 can participate in the challenge to win their very own Kindle tablet. One Kindle will be awarded per age category.

Golf Course & Country Club
Closed for Overseeding

From October 6 to October 26, our Golf Course and Pro Shop will be closed for our annual overseeding. From October 20 to October 26, the Canyon Lake Country Club Bar & Grill will also be closed for annual maintenance.

Overseeding is the process of planting new grass seeds directly over the existing turf. This process is necessary to help keep the fairways green year-round. In the fall and winter months, we overseed the golf course with perennial ryegrass, which is more favorable to the cooler weather we receive during these months. In the warmer months, the golf course has Bermuda grass, which tolerates the heat well.

Canyon Lake Camera Program

Help us protect our assets against vandalism by signing up for the Canyon Lake Camera Program!

The Canyon Lake Camera Program allows community residents with surveillance systems to voluntarily add themselves to a list that the Riverside County Sheriff's Department and Canyon Lake POA may refer to if a criminal incident occurred nearby. By signing up for this program, the Canyon Lake POA and/or law enforcement may contact you when these criminal incidents occur to help solve the crime by requesting to review the video footage your system may have captured.

This program is for Canyon Lake POA members, and members must log in to the website to sign up. Alternatively, email [email protected] to sign up. If emailing, please include your name, address, and tract-lot number.

Line Dancing

Join the excitement of our popular line dancing class led by Canyon Lake resident Diana Gallagher. With two class levels for beginners and improvers, you can find the perfect fit for your skill level. Purchase a punch card with five classes for just $20, or upgrade to 11 classes for only $40. Want to try before you commit? Attend a trial class for free! Tuesday classes are from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m., starting with a Basic Introduction from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m., followed by Beginners from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. On Wednesdays is the Improvers class from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. All classes are held at the Canyon Lake Lodge. When building a house or making any repairs, alterations, or additions to the exterior of your home or property, you must submit your plans to the Canyon Lake POA for the Architectural Control Committee (ACC) to review for approval at their weekly ACC Meeting. The property improvements posted on our ACC Notices page will be reviewed at the ACC Committee Meeting on Thursday, September 25, 2025.
