The Board of Directors met for their Regular Session Board Meeting on Tuesday, November 4. At this meeting, the Board approved four 28 Day Readings, two rule revisions, and the replacement of the grass at the Lodge with artificial turf.

As always, we thank everyone who participated in this meeting. The next Regular Session Board Meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, December 2, at 6 p.m. at the Lodge. Members are invited to join in person at the Lodge, online at vm.clpoa.net, or watch it live on the Canyon Lake POA Facebook page (@canyonlakepoa).

Golden Algae Treatment Underway

The chelated copper algaecide treatment on the lake is underway. The Canyon Lake POA and EVMWD partnered to conduct this proactive measure to help reduce the increasing presence of golden algae and support the overall health of the lake ecosystem.

As a reminder, the lake is closed until this Sunday, November 9.

View the complete schedule on our Lake Conditions page. For additional questions, please contact the Canyon Lake POA's Corporate Office at [email protected].

Member of the Month

The November Members of the Month are Craig and Tricia Brown and Kalon and Jessica Morris in recognition of their creativity and community spirit in creating the Canyon Lake Yacht Club Dock-or-Treat event. What began as an idea between friends grew into one of the most beloved community traditions, expanding to include over 26 houses, forty-plus Halloween-themed boats, and dozens of decorated docks. This safe, family-friendly alternative to crowded neighborhoods also includes houses that normally don't receive trick-or-treaters, allowing more of the community to participate. We thank Craig and Tricia Brown and Kalon and Jessica Morris for finding this creative use of our main community amenity and creating a tradition that fosters connection, inclusion, and pride across Canyon Lake.

Pavement Projects Underway

The pavement improvement project is in progress throughout the community. Phase 2 is currently underway. Roads include Buck Tail Drive and Cinnamon Teal Drive.

No street closures will occur on Friday, November 7, and Tuesday, November 11.

Affected streets will be closed on the remaining days from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. with "No Parking" signs posted 48 hours in advance. Please avoid driving or walking on treated areas until barricades are removed to prevent damage.
