Community News

Canyon Lake POA Holiday Hours

The Canyon Lake POA offices (including Member Services) are closed today, December 24, and Thursday, December 25, in observation of the Christmas holiday. Regular hours will resume on Friday, December 26.

The offices will also be closed on January 1 in observance of New Year's Day. Normal hours will resume on January 2.

Pavement Project Underway

The pavement improvement project is in progress throughout the community.
 
Phase 5 residents on Sorrel Lane will have temporary No Parking measures during asphalt berm installation on December 29 and December 30. The street will be open to vehicular and pedestrian traffic, but no parking will be permitted on the street. 

General working hours are from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. on affected days. "No Parking" signs will be posted before work begins.

Canyon Lake Mixed Doubles Championship Tournament

The Canyon Lake Tennis Club is hosting a mixed doubles tennis tournament on Sunday, January 18, 2026 open to non-club members!

Club members and non-club members are invited to participate in this tournament. Pick your playing partner and sign up before Thursday, January 8, to earn your spot! Can't find a partner? No problem — the tennis club will help you find one!

Entry fee is $20 per player for club members, $30 for non-club members. Register as soon as possible to Dean Washle at 714-323-2589 or email [email protected]. The deadline to register is Thursday,
January 8.

New Year's Eve Access Notice

As we saunter into the holiday season, please remember these important community access reminders the day of the holiday. First, if you are inviting guests into the community, please utilize GoAccess, which emails or texts your guests their pass and expedites their entry into the community. Also, please note that service providers are not permitted into the community on New Year's Eve, Wednesday, December 31. Examples of service providers include contractors, delivery drivers (like DoorDash or pizza delivery), furniture deliveries, HVAC services, home cleaning services, landscapers/pool services, plumbing services, and ride-share apps (like Uber or Lyft). Please note that this does not apply to in-home healthcare services. If you have a service provider needing access to the community, please add them as a temporary guest for the day. Access Rule Reminder

As a reminder, identification — in the form of a Canyon Lake POA membership card, driver's license, call-in passcode, etc. — is required for entry into the community (GR.6.1). This entry requirement enables us to maintain our gate-guarded community security standards.

Amenity Updates

Restaurant Christmas Hours

Canyon Lake Lodge
Both the Lighthouse Restaurant and Sunset Lounge are closed today, December 24, and tomorrow, December 25. Regular hours resume Friday, December 26.

Canyon Lake Golf & Country Club
The Country Club Bar & Grill will close early today, December 24, at 2 p.m. and is closed tomorrow, December 25. Regular hours resume Friday, December 26.

The Golf Course will be open from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. today, December 24, and 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. tomorrow, December 25. Regular hours resume Friday, December 26.

Happy Camp Office Closed on Christmas Day

The Happy Camp office will be closed on Christmas Day, December 25. The gas dock, propane, and ice dispensary will also be closed. Regular hours resume Friday, December 26.

Architectural Control Committee Public Notice

Wednesday, December 31, 2025

When building a house or making any repairs, alterations, or additions to the exterior of your home or property, you must submit your plans to the Canyon Lake POA for the Architectural Control Committee (ACC) to review for approval at their weekly ACC Meeting. The property improvements posted on our ACC Notices page will be reviewed at the ACC Committee Meeting on Wednesday, December 31, 2025.
